Make a Referral

The Student Support & Referral Team (SSRT) is aware that students face many challengers in and out of the classroom.  SSRT is a free, confidential referral service available to current students of Montgomery County Community College.  SSRT is composed of a team of counselors, faculty and staff who assist students dealing with issues such as emotional distress, stress, anxiety, eating disorders, abuse, depression, grief, potential violence, homelessness and substance abuse.  SSRT works to connect students with college and community resources and caring professionals.

Students are encouraged to seek help from SSRT on their own, however anyone (faculty, staff, another student, family member, friend, etc.) can refer a student to SSRT.  There are several avenues to use to make a referral.

How to Contact SSRT:

  • Visit the Student Success Centers located in College Hall at the Blue Bell Campus and South Hall at the Pottstown Campus during normal business hours.
  • Use the confidential email studentreferral@mc3.edu.  Emails received after normal business hours or when the college is closed will be responded to on the next business day or when the college reopens.
  • Call the Student Success Center during normal business hours and ask to speak with a member of SSRT or to arrange an appointment.  (Blue Bell Campus: 215-641-6577; Pottstown Campus: 610-718-1906)

SSRT IS NOT A 24 HOUR HOTLINE.

YOU SHOULD ALWAYS DIAL 9-1-1 DURING A CRISIS AND/OR EMERGENCY SITUATION TO GET IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE TO YOUR LOCATION.
