Aldersgate is a multi-program, nonprofit organization serving the community through counseling, substance abuse education and prevention, community outreach and foster care.  Its services address a wide variety of life issues for men, women, children, teens and entire families while promoting positive, healthy relationships and encouraging healthy community living.

The Horsham Clinic

A private, behavioral health clinic located in Ambler, Montgomery County, PA with satellite locations in Bristol, Bucks County, PA and Springfield, Delaware County, PA.  Provides inpatient and partial hospitalization services for children, adolescents and adults.  A 24 hour assessment and referral center is also available.

The Light Program

The Light Program is an intensive outpatient program treating individuals in crisis or struggling to function on a regular basis.


ULifeline is an anonymous, confidential, online resource center, where college students can be comfortable searching for the information they need and want regarding mental health and suicide prevention. ULifeline is available where college students seek information the most – at their fingertips on the Internet


The Center for Loss and Bereavement

A non-profit organization that provides professional counseling services and education within an environment of support and education for those individuals, couples and families dealing with loss and bereavement.

Project Rachel

Project Rachel provides assistance in reconciling an abortion experience.  It provides information for mothers, fathers, grandparents, siblings and others.  It also maintains a national “800” referral line for those in need.


Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center

A comprehensive, centrally located, multidisciplinary team response to allegations of child abuse in a dedicated, child-friendly setting to achieve justice for child victims and promote their physical emotional well-being.  Neutral, fact-finding forensic interviews are coordinated to avoid duplication during the processes of investigation and intervention.

Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth

Mandated county office that investigates all reports of suspected abuse, neglect or dependency from birth to age 18 in Montgomery County.  The office works with families directly and also coordinates services with community resources to improve family conditions.  Adoptions, foster care and child protective services are also a function of the office.

The Montgomery County Behavioral Health/Developmental Disabilities Department is an organization that strives to enrich the lives of people in a positive way through a unique partnership with the community that ensures quality services.

NHS Human Services of Montgomery County

NHS Human Services of Montgomery County is located in Lansdale and offers an array of counseling services to children, adults and families.  Treatment services include assessments, individual, couples and family therapy, group therapy, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and psychiatric services.  Multi-lingual assessment and therapy services are available.


Victim Services Center of Montgomery County, Inc.

Victim Services Center is a non-profit located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania that provides free and confidential comprehensive support services to crime victims, their families and significant others.  It also offers prevention education, risk reduction programs and training to professionals who work with victims of crimes.


Laurel House

Laurel House utilizes various programs including a 24 hour confidential hotline to assist abused women and their children.  Some of the services provided involve emergency shelter, legal advocacy and counseling among others.


National Eating Disorders Association

NEDA supports individuals and families affected by eating disorders, and serves as a catalyst for prevention, cures and access to quality care.  A national toll-free helpline assists families, friends and individuals find appropriate treatment.

The Renfrew Center

The Renfrew Center opened in 1985 as the country’s first residential facility for the treatment of women with eating disorders.  With locations in Philadelphia, Radnor, PA and other US cities, as well as a nationwide professional resource network, The Renfrew Center specializes in the treatment of eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia and binge eating), trauma, anxiety, depression and other women’s issues.


Council on Compulsive Gambling of Pennsylvania

The Council on Compulsive Gambling of Pennsylvania is a nonprofit organization affiliated with the National Council on Compulsive Gambling.  Its purpose is to educate and disseminate information on compulsive gambling and to facilitate referrals.  The Council also provides speakers, workshops, seminars and information to groups.

Gamblers Anonymous

A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve a common problem and help others recover from a gambling problem.

National Council on Problem Gambling

The National Council on Problem Gambling strives to ensure the widespread availability of treatment for problem gamblers and their families while increasing public awareness of pathological gambling and encouraging research and programs for its prevention and education.


National Center for Missing and Exploited Children

Provides services, resources and technical assistance to child victims of abduction and sexual exploitation, their families and the professionals who serve them.


Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists Directory

Sponsored by the Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists, this online directory assists the public in locating qualified psychologists.  Practitioners can be identified along with his/her area of expertise.


Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape

The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape (PCAR) is an organization working at the state and national levels to prevent sexual violence.  Utilizing 51 rape crisis centers, PCAR provides quality services to victims/survivors of sexual violence and their significant others in all 67 counties of Pennsylvania.  The centers also work to create public awareness and prevention education.


Berks Counseling Center

A private, non-profit licensed to provide outpatient alcohol/drug and partial hospitalization treatment for persons afflicted with chemical dependency as well as outpatient mental health services.

Chester Counseling Center

Chester Counseling Center is a private, non-profit licensed to provide outpatient drug and alcohol treatment as well as treatment for those with co-occurring disorders.

Pyramid Healthcare

Provides treatment and care for adult and teen alcohol and drug abuse as well as treatment for individuals with mental health disorders and adolescent behavioral problems.

Rehab After Work

Rehab After Work is a licensed intensive outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program that has provided individualized treatment programs for over a decade.  Through this program, individuals can get the help they need while they continue to work.

A national organization that brings together people across communities and backgrounds to understand and prevent suicide, and to help heal the pain it causes.

CONTACT Greater Philadelphia

CONTACT Greater Philadelphia is a confidential telephone support, crisis intervention and suicide hotline service providing assistance in the Greater Philadelphia area.  Fully trained volunteers are available on a 24 hour per day basis.

The JED Foundation

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among college students, and untreated mental health problems prevent thousands more students from graduating every year. The Jed Foundation is the leading nonprofit organization working to reduce the rate of suicide and the prevalence of emotional distress among college students. The Jed Foundation’s programs are guided by an expert board of mental health professionals and target students, parents, colleges, the medical community, and the general public.

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-TALK (8255) is a 24-hour, toll-free, confidential suicide prevention hotline available to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. By dialing 1-800-273-TALK, the call is routed to the nearest crisis center in our national network of more than 150 crisis centers. The Lifeline’s national network of local crisis centers, provide crisis counseling and mental health referrals day and night.

Services for Teens At Risk (STAR-Center)

Services for Teens At Risk (STAR-Center) is a program that combines clinical and outreach services designed to combat the problem of adolescent suicide.  Its mission is to offer state-of-the art, responsive care for youth and their families and to train other professionals in best practices.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is a leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.

The Youth Suicide Prevention School Based Guide

This “Guide” is designed to provide accurate, user-friendly information.  It is a tool that provides a framework for schools to assess their existing or proposed suicide prevention efforts.  Resources and information useful in enhancing an existing program are also provided.


Montgomery County, PA Vet Center

The Vet Center offers a wide range of services to help the veteran make a successful transition from military to civilian life.  Services include: individual and group counseling, marital and family counseling, bereavement counseling, medical and benefits referrals, employment counseling and others.
