One can never have enough information to help someone or to save a life.  Even a little knowledge and understanding of the signs that someone is hurting emotionally may be all that is needed to get that person the assistance they need.  The Montgomery County Suicide Prevention Work Group is doing its part in providing the public with valuable information.  On Tuesday, September 11, 2012 the organization will hold its 2nd annual Open House from 11 AM to 3 PM at The Church on the Mall in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

Representatives from community agencies, behavioral health providers, advocacy and support groups and the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs will take part in the open house.  The available information will cover topics such as recovery, resilience, support, depression, mental illness, crisis intervention and suicide prevention.  Since these issues know no boundaries, the information will be pertinent for all ages.

The Church on the Mall is located at the Plymouth Meeting Mall, 500 West Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.  For more information contact Tony Salvatore at 610-279-6100 or via email tsalvatore@mces.org.
